STM32N6 Discovery Kit Request Form
STMicroelectronics has set aside a supply of free STM32N6 Discovery Kits for eligible participants to use in the Contest. Would you like to request a free Kit? Fill out the form and explain why you think you should receive a free Kit. Note: Limited number of kits are available. Your project idea will first be reviewed by staff from STMicroelectronics and Elektor.
Note: depending on the number of applications the engineers of Elektor and/or STMicroelectronics may reach out for additional information on your project.

After your project idea is approved you will receive your board and you can get started! Here's how to submit your final project.
To enter the STM32 Edge AI Contest, you must develop, document, and then submit your project details via the Elektor Labs online platform. A free Elektor Labs account is required to enter. Using the Elektor Labs platform, you must provide the following required items: Project Title, Project Teaser/Abstract, Project Details, Project Image, Description, and Elements (e.g., schematics and software).

Entry Requirements: Your Entry must include the following:
Project Title
Teaser/Abstract
Project Image
Description: An in-depth description of what you built, how the board figures in the design, and your results.
Elements: All necessary schematics, block diagram, additional photos, PCBs, software/code, etc.
Judging & Participation
A team of judges comprising engineers, executives, and editors from STMicroelectronics and Elektor will select the top 3 winners based on technical merit, originality, and design optimization. Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Creativity and Innovation: The uniqueness and originality of the Edge AI application design.
Technical Excellence: The technical proficiency and skill demonstrated in utilizing the STM32N6 MCU / STM32N6 development board.
Functionality and Practicality: The effectiveness and practicality of the Edge AI application in solving a real-world problem or enhancing user experience.
Aesthetics and User Experience: The visual appeal, user interface design, and overall user experience of the application.
Documentation and Presentation: The clarity, completeness, and quality of the project documentation and presentation.
Eligibility and Participation:
The contest is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the start date of the contest.
Participants must have a valid physical and email address.
Participants must participate as individuals and not as corporations, limited liability companies, or other entities.
Officers, directors, and employees of Elektor, STMicroelectronics, and their subsidiaries or affiliates are ineligible to enter the contest.
Participants must agree to follow the Official Rules and Terms and Conditions.
To enter the contest, participants must complete all fields on the online form and submit it before the specified deadline.
The STM32N6-AI is STMicroelectronics' collection of tools and resources to support the development and deployment of AI models on the high-performance STM32N6 series microcontrollers.
STM32N6-AI tools are designed to streamline the development process and ensure that developers can achieve optimal performance and efficiency. They offer support for both bring your own data (BYOD) and bring your own model (BYOM) approaches to match users' best development practices and preferences.
Additionally, STM32N6-AI offers various software packages that serve as examples and starting points for a user's AI projects:
For AI: Include simple CV and audio applications such as people detection or image classification, as well as more complex and optimized applications such as pose estimation, instance segmentation, hand landmark detection, and audio scene recognition.
For video: Demonstrate a complete application involving H264 encoding and USB video device class stream output data to a PC.
