Low Cost Thermal camera
Thermal Camera with MLX90640 sensor and Raspberry Pi
This low cost thermal camera (~100€) uses the thermal sensor MLX90640 from Melexis together with an Raspberry Pi and a Touchscreen Display.
The attached Software for the Raspberry Pi was designed in C++ under Visual Studio together with the Visual GDB cross compiler.
The thermal sensor will be simply connected to the 3,3V supply of the Raspberry Pi and the I2C interface. The Raspberry Pi will be powered by 4 1,2V 2700mAH NiMH accus, which makes an operating time of about 3 hours.
